Jon is an award winning documentary producer and director.

His most recent feature length project is about the Australian cricket legend, Shane Warne. The film is backed by Screen Australia and is available on Amazon Prime - see it here .

 Jon is an alumnus of the Screen Skills backed Future Producers School. He also helped set up and run the award winning documentary strand BT Sport Films for BT Sport in 2013 including producing and co-directing the award winning features ‘The Crazy Gang’ and ‘An Ordinary Hero’.

His debut independent feature ‘Forbidden Games: The Justin Fashanu Story’ premiered at HotDocs in Toronto and Sheffield DocFest before being acquired by Netflix in 2017. The feature was later nominated for Best Documentary at the Edinburgh TV Festival in 2018.

Jon continues to be drawn to human interest stories with themes that explore racial and sexual identity and the culture of celebrity. He also aspires to work in the historical, political and music documentary sub genres as well as further developing the visual metaphors that have become associated with his work.
