Leo Burley



Leo Burley is a multi award winning documentary film-maker, specialising in presenter-led history, arts and specialist factual programmes. His recent film My Dad, The Peace Deal and Me (BBC1), won Patrick Kielty 'Best Presenter' at the Grierson Awards 2018. Leo also series produced and directed ' My Family, Partition and Me' (BBC1) which won Best Presenter at the 2017 RTS Awards for Anita Rani as well as the Asian Media Awards Programme of the Year, 2017. In 2015 he directed Life After Suicide (BBC1) which was nominated for a Bafta and won Programme of the Year at the Mind Media Awards. Other recent films include the critically acclaimed The Bank That Almost Broke Britain (BBC2).
