Ian Denyer is a director of BAFTA, Emmy and RTS-winning films. A producer with magpie genes, he finds glitter in any subject except football, on which he has accidentally made several films.

Having started out as a photographer and journalist, precision writing is a passion, composition an obsession. Extensive experience making observational and especially deep-access precinct-based documentaries balanced by a fondness for presenters, new, ancient, difficult, royal and Hollywood A list.
Directing crews of all sizes and self-shooting 40+ films, positive team dynamics are a priority. A full-service director from research to final delivery, Denyer revels in the edit.
Recent work includes four series of Italian cookery with Stanley Tucci, a feature-length exploration of Buddhism and the successful pilot for Apple TV's forthcoming blockbuster architectural series.
