agent: Camilla Chiverton - camilla@sternwild.com
Ralph has an outstanding track record delivering premium factual television for the world’s leading broadcasters: Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+/ABC News, Discovery+, Hulu and National Geographic. His recent work includes an Outstanding True Crime Series nomination at the 2026 True Crime Awards and a Buzzy Award-winning production.
Specialising in true crime, contemporary history, access-led documentaries and premium factual series, Ralph has spent more than 25 years bringing highly ambitious projects to screen on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
Whether shaping a series’ editorial vision, handling sensitive access, navigating complex compliance requirements across multiple territories or managing teams in numerous edit suites, Ralph combines a calm, practical approach with a knack for great storytelling whatever the genre.
At the heart of Ralph’s work is a fascination with people and the worlds they inhabit. Ralph prides himself on leading from the front — honing the series arc and pre shoot scripts, creating the visual language of a series, conducting sensitive contributor interviews, directing in the field, getting the recon in the can, scriptwriting or shaping narratives in the edit — but he is equally comfortable managing larger teams from the office when needed.
He is recognised for crafting compelling stories driven by memorable characters and extraordinary access.
Over the course of his career Ralph has filmed around the world, from the Arctic Circle to Australia — from crack dens to the Palais de Justice, from US Customs Black Hawks to remote wilderness expeditions — and has built a reputation for gaining access to worlds rarely seen by audiences and translating them into compelling, human stories.
Ralph has extensive experience working with police forces, government agencies, victims of crime, offenders and contributors from every walk of life — including roughnecks, fishermen, rescue services, drug dealers and addicts at every level, as well as the traumatised victims of crime.
Comfortable operating in sensitive, high-risk and highly scrutinised environments, he is known for handling complex legal, compliance and safeguarding issues with confidence, integrity and sound editorial judgement.
Recent credits include a major true-crime anthology series (TBA) for ABC News/Disney+ (Co-Executive Producer), Inside the Kim Kardashian Heist for Discovery+ and HBO Max (Executive Producer), nominated for Outstanding True Crime Series at the 2026 True Crime Awards, Naming the Dead for National Geographic and Disney (Series Producer), and Narco Wars for National Geographic (Executive Producer), winner of a Buzzy Award.
