Stern & Wild client helms landmark film showcasing the King's environmental philosophy
Many congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmaker Nicolas Brown, Director of a newly announced landmark documentary on King Charles III’s “Harmony” philosophy and his commitment to the environment.
Produced by Passion Planet in collaboration with The King’s Foundation for Amazon MGM Studios, the feature documentary FINDING HARMONY: A KING’S VISION (w/t) will screen on Amazon Prime early next year.
Its announcement comes as the King tells of his “fondest hope” that the film will “encourage a new audience to learn about the philosophy of Harmony” and inspire the same “sense of determination” that he feels to protect our planet and create a more sustainable future for the next generation. The King believes humans are "part of nature, not apart from nature" and that a healthy connection with nature is at "the core of human wellbeing".
The film explores how this philosophy is brought to life through the work of The King’s Foundation, which is headquartered at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, itself a living demonstration of these principles, and documents how the King’s vision has sparked a global movement, with examples including food production, urbanism, community regeneration, sustainable textiles and traditional skills.
The King said: “This film will, I hope, demonstrate just some of the remarkable work being done around the world to put Harmony into practice, from the forests of Guyana to sustainable communities in India – and, closer to home, through the work of my King’s Foundation at Dumfries House and Highgrove.”
Nicolas said: “This is a story of hope and resilience. People who watch this film will leave feeling uplifted and motivated. The King’s philosophy offers something for everyone. Mostly, he shows us the power of resilience – and how following your intuition can transform the world.”
