Hit Formula 1 docuseries from Box to Box Films scoops Sports Emmy
Many congratulations to new Stern & Wild client Adnan Ahmed and the whole team behind the sixth season of the brilliant docuseries Formula 1: Drive to Survive, winner of this year’s Sports Emmy for Outstanding Documentary Series - Serialised. First launched in 2019, the influential show recaps what happened in the previous year’s F1 championship, using exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the teams and owners, alongside racing-day coverage and retrospective interviews.
The series is a Box to Box Films production for Netflix. For Season 6, Matt Rudge is Showrunner; Exec Producers are Laurence Anthony, James Gay-Rees, Ian Holmes and Paul Martin; Tom Rogers is Co-Exec Producer; Supervising Producers are Isa Campbell and Warren Smith; Producers are Kat Bannon, David Hayes and Ben Phethean; Series Producers are Joe Keenan and Kate O'Hara; Rob Willis is Director; Editors are Chris Duveen and Stevey Jones. Adnan is Edit Director.
Adnan is a Grierson-winning and RTS-nominated director represented at Stern & Wild by Natalie Spanier. His recent directing credits include Big Zuu Goes to Mecca for BBC Two; Manhunt for Channel 4; and Hometown: Another Killing for BBC Three.
