Final show in latest pub walk series set to air tonight
Shout out to Stern & Wild filmmaker Leo McCrea, Director of the second season of Channel 4’s popular factual entertainment series PERFECT PUB WALKS which has been airing this month on More4.
The four-part series is hosted by actor, comedian and presenter Alexander Armstrong, who takes over from last year’s frontman Bill Bailey. Each episode follows Armstrong and a celebrity guest on a walk through a different part of the British countryside, sharing as they go “wide-ranging, funny and sometimes very personal conversations”. The current series has featured Sir Lenny Henry, James May and Chris Packham.
For tonight’s final episode, Armstrong takes comedian Chris McCausland on three monumental Monmouthshire pub walks through the Wye Valley. As they make their way from pub to pub, Chris talks about his remarkable life story and shares emotional insights into his private life, as he discusses his blindness, his family, his career and other people's expectations of him.
PERFECT PUB WALKS is produced by Up&Away Studios for More4. It is commissioned by Clemency Green, Senior Commissioning Editor, Lifestyle, Channel 4, with Jo Street, Director of Commissioning, Nations and Regions and Channel 4’s Head of Lifestyle. Exec Producers are Martin Fuller and James Quinn. Nest Productions’ Marisa Erftemeijer is Head of Production with the company’s Sarah Thornewell as Line Producer.
The final episode airs tonight at 9.00pm on More4 and will be available to stream on the Channel 4 platform.
