Stern & Wild client’s athletic doc in the running for a Broadcast Sport trophy

Congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmaker Jamie Seal, Series Editor on the thrilling docuseries SPRINT which has been nominated for Sports Documentary Series of the Year at the 2025 Broadcast Sport Awards.

Produced by Box to Box Films for Netflix, the two-part, eight-episode series follows the world’s fastest athletes as they chase glory at the 2023 World Championships and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Track stars featured in the series include Olympic gold medallists Noah Lyles, Gabby Thomas and Letsile Tebogo as well as current 100m world champions Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Oblique Seville.

We are delighted for the Jamie and the whole team behind this exciting series. Jamie is a Grierson, RTS and Broadcast Award nominee, and in 2018 won a BAFTA Cymru Award for SURGEONS: AT THE EDGE OF LIFE (Dragonfly for BBC Two). His other recent projects include SIX NATIONS: FULL CONTACT (Box to Box for Netflix) and NIGHT COPPERS (Blast! Films for Channel 4).
