Critics Choice win for series celebrating food, family and cultural identity
Huge congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmakers Robin O’Sullivan and Leo McCrea and the entire team behind the brilliant docuseries No Taste Like Home with Antoni Porowski which won Best Structured Series at last night’s Critics Choice Real TV Awards. The six-part series won in a tie with the latest season of lifestyle makeover show Queer Eye, which also stars food and wine expert Antoni Porowski, so double shout out to him.
No Taste Like Home follows Antoni as he travels the globe with celebrity guests to explore their ancestral gastronomic roots. The lineup for the first series includes Awkwafina, Henry Golding, Florence Pugh and Justin Theroux. Robin is the Showrunner and Exec Producer and Leo is a Director, helming three of the series’ six episodes. It is a Studio Ramsay Global production for Nat Geo. In addition to Robin, Exec Producers are Gordon Ramsay, Lisa Edwards and Antoni for Studio Ramsay, and Betsy Forhan for Nat Geo. Along with Leo, Directors are Jenny Dames and Graeme Hart.
The series was also nominated in the Best Travel/Adventure Show category while Antoni was nominated for the Male Star of the Year award (for this series and Queer Eye). To read about all the winners and nominations, click here.
