Stern & Wild looks ahead with growing roster of clients
As we say goodbye to the summer, the team at Stern & Wild are marking the new season with a weekly series introducing all of the extraordinarily talented clients who have joined the agency in recent months. We are delighted to welcome so many gifted filmmakers to our roster and look forward to a long and successful partnership with each of them.
We kick off the series with six filmmakers who are represented by Camilla Chiverton, Agent for Premium Unscripted Creative Talent.
George is an award-winning Director and Producer making feature films, feature docs and documentary series focusing on underrepresented stories that reflect his strong commitment to social justice. He initially made his mark with the 2017 BAFTA-nominated feature doc THE HARD STOP which follows the story of two friends of Mark Duggan, whose death at the hands of the Metropolitan police sparked the 2011 London riots.
His notable projects include ERASED: WW2’S HEROES OF COLOUR (October Films/22Summers for Nat Geo), BLACK POWER: A BRITISH STORY OF RESISTANCE (Rogan Productions for the BBC Two) and ENSLAVED WITH SAMUEL L JACKSON (Cornelia Street for the BBC).
George is currently developing a feature film project THE HALFWAY with co-producers New Sparta (Christopher Simon and Sophie Lipsey) and David Harewood’s production company Section 52.
Fergus is a Director and Showrunner with over 20 years’ experience in the creation of popular feature documentaries and drama docs for some of the world’s leading broadcasters and platforms including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Amazon, Apple TV, Canal+, Discovery+, Nat Geo, NBC, Warner Bros and ZDF. He was most recently Writer and Director on the critically lauded multimillion-dollar feature documentary TITANIC: THE DIGITAL RESURRECTION (Atlantic Productions for Disney+), which reached #2 across all Disney+ output in the US earlier this year.
With a background in award-winning short film production, Fergus is keen to encourage new talent and provide opportunities for fresh voices to grow and develop. His other recent projects include FEDS (October Films/Orit Ent for MAX), TYCOONS (Off the Fence for Curiosity Stream) and BANGED UP ABROAD (Raw TV for Channel 5 and Nat Geo).
Vicki is a Director and Executive Producer with a reputation for delivering documentaries that spark national debate and drive real-world change. A Broadcast and RTS award-winning and BAFTA, Amnesty, and Grierson-nominated filmmaker, she has worked for many of the UK’s leading indies helming premium projects for the BBC, Channel 4, CNN, Sky, Hulu, Peacock, HBO and Discovery. Her recent projects include ANATOMY OF LIES (Dorothy St Pictures for Peacock), AMERICAN ZOO [w/t] (Dorothy St Pictures/Fifth Season) and PLANET SEX WITH CARA DELEVIGNE (Naked/Freemantle for Hulu/BBC).
Vicki is currently collaborating with veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby on a counterintuitive analysis of the British Monarchy, which is being produced by The Garden for the BBC.
Sam is a Director, Executive Producer and Showrunner with a brilliant track record in the creation of award-winning documentary projects. He is a specialist in directing limited box set series that blend retrospective and unfolding narratives, working with on-screen talent, and the creation of compelling drama docs. His work spans a range of genres from real life crime drama and adventure travel series to presenter-led science and history shows.
His recent credits include: THE PLAYBOY BUNNY MURDER (Future Studios for ITV1), THE CRYPTO QUEEN (Dare Pictures for Channel 4), JARED FROM SUBWAY (Double Act for Discovery) and the upcoming THE MULTI-MILLION POUND SHAMAN SCAM for BBC Two.
Marion is an accomplished Director, Writer and Series Producer of premium documentaries, specialising in talent-led projects and drama docs covering history, arts and science. She has delivered projects for all the UK terrestrial channels and Sky, as well as major international networks including ABC, Al Jazeera, CNN, Discovery, France 2, History, PBS and SBS Australia.
An Emmy and double RTS nominee, Marion is a New York Film Festivals Gold Medal Winner. Her recent credits include FROST vs THE MIDDLE EAST, the final episode in the critically acclaimed six-part retrospective series DAVID FROST vs… (Paradine Productions, White Horse Pictures, Sky Studios for Sky Docs), DIANA (CNN Original Series), COUNTDOWN TO ABDICATION (BBC) and BRITAIN’S TRAITOR KING (Yeti TV for Channel 4).
Jane is a Director, Producer and Writer of premium documentary projects specialising in popular culture, celebrity-driven projects, crime and sport. A Grierson and Broadcast nominated and RTS winning filmmaker, she is renowned for the creation of award-winning archive-led retrospective films, features with dramatic reconstructions and observational character-driven documentaries. Jane moved into production following a stellar career in journalism and book writing and has delivered major series for leading UK and global channels and platforms including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Disney, Netflix, Sky, 20th Century Fox and A+E, as well as feature documentaries for theatrical release.
Her recent credits include IN VOGUE: THE 90s (Raw TV, Vogue Studios for Disney+), THE EXTRAORDINARY LIFE OF APRIL ASHLEY (Swan Films for Channel 4) and SECRETS, LIES & PRIVATE EYES (October Films for Discovery+).
