Second branded award nomination for Marcus Liversedge's documentary special for The LEGO Group and Formula 1
Fantastic news for Stern & Wild filmmaker Marcus Liversedge whose joyous documentary special BRICKS ON TRACK: BUILDING THE LEGO F1 DRIVERS’ PARADE has been shortlisted for the Branded Programme prize at the 2026 Brand Film Awards. The production is also one of the nominees for the top Branded Entertainment award at this year’s upcoming British Arrows.
The one-hour special tells the inside story of how a global team of creative mavericks set out to pull off a high-stakes, top-secret mission: build 10 full-size, drivable LEGO Formula 1 cars and deliver them to the Miami Grand Prix for the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly to race in front of a worldwide audience. It first aired on Sky in November last year.
Directed by the super talented Marcus, the special was commissioned by The LEGO Group in partnership with Formula 1 and produced by the brilliant team at JustSo. Huge props to JustSo’s CD Leo Birch and Producer Auriol Wyles for their creative leadership. Shout out to Marcus’s fantastic longtime collaborator JustSo Co-Founder Jonny Madderson and to LEGO Group’s brilliant EP Brent Benedetti. Props too to Director of Photography Ciaran O'Brien, Editor Jamie Kataky and the whole team behind this ambitious production.
Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on Wednesday 29 April 2026, at Ham Yard in London. For a full list of nominees, click here.
