Stern & Wild clients team with Tom Hanks for epic Second World War docuseries

We are thrilled for Stern & Wild filmmakers David Belton, Annabel Hobley and Duncan Singh who were part of the extraordinary team behind WORLD WAR II WITH TOM HANKS, a landmark new documentary launching on the HISTORY Channel and Sky HISTORY next week.

Narrated by multi-Oscar winner Tom Hanks, the ambitious 20-part series retells the story of the most destructive war in human history for a new generation. It covers the full arc of the conflict from the rise of fascism in Europe to the fall of Berlin, from Pearl Harbour to Hiroshima, and the aftershocks that still shape our world today.

It is produced for the HISTORY Channel by A+E Factual Studios group and UK indie Nutopia in association with Playtone and Motion Entertainment. David, Annabel and Duncan are Producer Directors on the series.

The series launches on the HISTORY Channel in the USA on Monday, 25 May at 8.00pm ET, and in the UK on Sky HISTORY on Tuesday, 26 May at 9.00pm. Watch the trailer here.
