Latest film from Gareth Johnson wows worldwide Netflix audiences

Massive congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmaker Gareth Johnson whose fantastic feature documentary THE CRASH has proved a huge hit for Netflix since it launched on the platform on 15 May.

The true-crime doc has stormed the platform’s audience charts. featuring in its global Top 10 movies for its first two weeks on release. It debuted with a solid 11.7 million viewers in its first week (starting 11 May) and reached a whopping 27.6 million viewers in its second (starting 18 May) making it last week’s most-watched film and the platform’s #1 movie in 27 countries.

Directed by the super-talented Gareth, THE CRASH is a RAW production for Netflix. It is produced by RAW’s Rebecca North and exec produced by Jonny Taylor.
