Fantastic raft of nominations for Stern & Wild clients at the 2025 Televisual Bulldog Awards

With voting now open, we are thrilled to announce 10 projects made by filmmakers represented by Stern & Wild are in the running for this year’s Televisual Bulldog Awards. Client projects are nominated in six of the Awards 16 categories, which underscores both the depth and breadth of talent we bring to the industry.

The first of our nominations is the wonderful three-part series LOST BOYS AND FAIRIES (Duck Soup Films for BBC One) directed by James Kent which is in the running for the best Drama One-Off or Serial award.

The fifth series of the popular family history series DNA JOURNEY (Voltage TV, Mitre Studios, Ancestry for ITV) is nominated in the Factual Entertainment category. Iain “Thompy” Thompson is Series Director and the show’s Co-Creator.

Two Stern & Wild client projects are shortlisted in the History category: the fascinating six-part fashion and popular culture series IN VOGUE: THE 90S (Raw TV, Vogue Studios for Disney+) whose Directors include Matt Hill and Jane Preston is in contention alongside the haunting Holocaust feature documentary THE LAST MUSICIAN OF AUSCHWITZ (Two Rivers Media for BBC Two) directed by Toby Trackman.

Nominated in the Single Documentary category is the chilling investigative film UNDERCOVER: EXPOSING THE FAR RIGHT (Tigerlily Films, Marking Films Inc, HiddenLight, Doc Society for Channel 4) directed, filmed and produced by Havana Marking.

Finally, five client projects are nominated across the Awards’ two documentary series categories. The reboot of the acclaimed LIFE AND DEATH ROW (BBC Studios Doc Unit for BBC Three) series directed by Stuart Bernard is in the running for the Documentary Series – PSB award, while four very different projects will compete for the Documentary Series – Streamer award. The contenders are: ATTACK ON LONDON: HUNTING THE 7/7 BOMBERS (The Garden Productions for Netflix) co-exec produced by Duncan Coates; BIBAA & NICOLE: MURDER IN THE PARK (True Vision Productions for Sky Docs) directed by Alex Thomas; GAME OF THROWS: INSIDE DARTS (Dorothy St Pictures and Meadowlark Media for Sky Docs) series directed by Chris Wilson with Toby Trackman as Consulting Director; and SURVIVING BLACK HAWK DOWN (RSA Films for Netflix) series produced by Sally Brindle.

We are incredibly proud of each of these exceptional filmmakers and their extraordinary work and wish them all the very best of luck. The Awards are decided by an industry-wide vote so have your say by voting for your favourites here.
