Marcus Liversedge's documentary special for The LEGO Group and Formula 1 in the running for leading UK advertising award

Thrilling news for Stern & Wild filmmaker Marcus Liversedge whose brilliant TV documentary special BRICKS ON TRACK: BUILDING THE LEGO F1 DRIVERS’ PARADE has been shortlisted for the top Branded Entertainment prize at the upcoming British Arrows.

Filmed like a heist movie, the one-hour special tells the inside story of how a global team of creative mavericks set out to pull off a high-stakes, top-secret mission: build 10 full-size, drivable LEGO Formula 1 cars and deliver them to the Miami Grand Prix for the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly to race in front of a worldwide audience. It first aired on Sky in November last year.

Commissioned by The LEGO Group in partnership with Formula 1, BRICKS ON TRACK is produced by the brilliant team at JustSo, who describe the project as "a love letter to human imagination, teamwork and playfulness". Director Marcus is one of a growing number of Stern & Wild clients bringing their extraordinary skills in traditional film and TV production to the exciting world of branded content.

Now in its 50th year, the British Arrows are the one of the most prestigious awards in the UK's creative industries, designed to celebrate and promote UK moving-image advertising and branded content across the globe. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on Thursday 26th March.

We are delighted for everyone involved in the joyous BRICKS ON TRACK and wish the whole team the best of luck on the night. For a full list of nominees, click here.
