Three projects from Stern & Wild clients in the running for this year’s True Crime Awards

We are delighted to announce that three projects from Stern & Wild filmmakers have been shortlisted for the 2026 True Crime Awards. Congratulations to Sam Miller, Duncan Coates and Alex Thomas.

Sam Miller is Series Director and Co-Exec Producer of HEIST: ROBBING THE BANK OF ENGLAND (Soho Studios, Homecoming Studios, Krempelwood & BossaNova Media) which is nominated for the ON SCREEN: OUTSTANDING TWO-PART DOCUSERIES prize. Written and hosted by Marcel Theroux, the series investigates the international plot behind the 1990 theft of £292 million in bearer bonds, one of the largest heists in British history.

Two client projects are nominated in the ON SCREEN: OUTSTANDING THREE-OR-MORE-PART DOCUSERIES category. Duncan Coates is Showrunner and Co-Exec Producer of the chilling four-part series ATTACK ON LONDON: HUNTING THE 7/7 BOMBERS (The Garden for Netflix), which provides an immersive minute-by-minute account of events surrounding the July 2005 terror attacks and the hunt to find those responsible. Also in the running is the powerful three-part series BIBAA & NICOLE: MURDER IN THE PARK (True Vision TV for Sky Documentaries). Alex Thomas is Series Director of the production which uncovers the harrowing story behind the killings of sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman in 2020, and the shocking police misconduct that followed.

Good luck to all the shortlisted projects and to the amazing teams who made them. Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on 4 June 2026 at the Hilton, London Bankside. For a full list of nominees, click here.
