Stern & Wild client brings his skills to the latest outing for CNN’s SEARCHING FOR franchise

Three cheers for Stern & Wild filmmaker Mark Bates, one of the creative team behind the brilliant culinary travel series EVA LONGORIA: SEARCHING FOR FRANCE which launched on CNN last Sunday.

The eight-part series follows Eva Longoria on a journey through France to uncover the historical roots of the country’s gastronomic leadership and explore how it became the global standard for fine dining. It is the third season of the SEARCHING FOR franchise hosted by the award-winning actress, activist and filmmaker, following successful series on Mexico and Spain.

Mark is Edit Producer of the Bordeaux episode which is directed by Helen Simpson. The episode includes a trip to the two-star Michelin restaurant Maison Nouvelle to dine with chef Philippe Etchebest and a sampling of the region’s world-renowned wines alongside the famously rich Bordelaise sauce.

The series is produced for CNN by the Hyphenate Media Group. Executive Producers are Eva Longoria, Cris Abrego, Rachelle Mendez and Shauna Minoprio for Hyphenate Media Group; Eve Kay for Dragonfly, and Amy Entelis and Lyle Gamm for CNN Original Series. Minoprio also serves as Showrunner.
